Birding Solanas Project: Consolidating Wild Bird Observation as a Tourist Product in the Solanas Punta del Este Complex, Maldonado, Uruguay

Through a collaboration between Solanas Punta del Este, REVOLT and Wild Punta del Este, a birding circuit was created that aims to incorporate the observation of wild birds as a new entertainment option within the limits of the Complex.

The proposal aims to create natural spaces that facilitate the observation of the area's characteristic birdlife. To this end, two specific areas have been created for this activity (the Achará Native Garden and the Yerutí Trail), while other similar features will be added in the future.

Below you can access information related to the wildlife along the circuit and about nature guides available for specialized tours. Tours can be arranged both within the Solanas Complex and in other areas of interest throughout the Maldonado department.
